Chemigraphic Launches Apprenticeship Scheme.

Chemigraphic, leading provider of Electronics Manufacturing Services solutions successfully launched its first Apprenticeship Scheme in August 2013.  We have taken on four highly motivated and enthusiastic, locally based individuals who all share a passion for electronics engineering and are keen to work hard and successfully balance 4-day a week work schedules with day release study commitments.

We are working in partnership with Central Sussex College, where all of our Apprentice’s will be studying for either their BTEC or HNC qualifications as part of either an Intermediate or Advanced Level Apprenticeship Programme. All of our Apprentices will be working on a 2 - year pre-defined, internally managed, vocational learning programme which is aligned to the topics of their formal studies.

Sally Smith, HR Manager at Chemigraphic commented on the Company’s thinking towards their newly launched Apprenticeship Scheme, “All of us who have been key stakeholders in the design and delivery of this project are firm believers in apprenticeship schemes, not for low cost employment but to offer high quality training to young local people. Our aim, in launching our Apprenticeship scheme is to work hard to retain all of our apprentices after their training has finished and for them to develop into some of the future key players within our business.   We believe that investing in our Production team has made us an attractive employer that provides strong progression through the company. The apprenticeship programme will be integral in the development of our business over years to come and it’s been fantastic to welcome enthusiastic and hardworking young people to the team and we look forward to helping them develop both personally and professionally.”
